- Retention Knobs, also called Pull Studs are the link between the machine drawbar and the toolholder.
- Pulling forces can reach up to 1200 lbs for BT30, 2300 lbs for 40 taper, and up to 5000 lbs for 50 taper
- Our retention knobs are made in the USA by MariTool from H-13 tool steel. H-13 is tougher and harder than 8620, 9310 and 4140 alloys that are commonly used by other manufacturers
- All of our Retention Knobs have pilot diameters that help improve concentricity
- Retention Knobs do not have an infinite life
